Autistic Burnout Recovery for Women Over 35
A BIRTHDAY OFFER
In September 2026, I'm turning 40.
To mark it, I'm opening four founding spots in this program at 40% off.
This is genuinely how I want to celebrate this birthday: by bringing four women into this work at a price that reflects what this year means to me.
Once these four spots are filled, or once September ends, whichever comes first, this offer will end.
If you're a woman who discovered your autistic identity later in life, it's likely you've spent decades feeling like you were doing something wrong: frustrated with your fatigue, confused by communication, and all alone in an overwhelming world.
Simply having the name, "I am autistic," to describe your identity might have already brought you a certain amount of relief.
But you might still find yourself struggling: burnt out from living out of alignment with what your brain was meant to do, at a loss for how to take care of your sensitivities, and scared that honoring your autistic needs may mean sacrificing the parts of your life that you love.
Discovering your autistic identity was an important first step.
Aligning your autistic identity with deep self-understanding, sovereignty, and self-love is what's next.
Set up a complimentary discovery call with me. We’ll talk about your autistic experiences and answer all your questions about the program.
Who I Am
I'm Atlas Anne, PhD, LPC, CYT.
I'm a licensed mental health therapist, a trauma neurocounselor, and I hold a PhD with a research focus on stress and trauma through a sensitive lens. I'm also certified in yoga, neurofeedback, and Reiki, and utilize quantum mechanics as a framework for understanding consciousness.
I also discovered my own autistic identity at the age of 29, but it took me another decade and a difficult episode of burnout to start taking it seriously.
As a therapist, my practice has always focused on highly sensitive and empathic women. Eventually the common thread I kept finding was that they were all autistic and they were all burnt out.
What I Offer
The Autistic Burnout Recovery Program is designed for women assigned female at birth over the age of 35 who are experiencing physical, mental, and relational burnout due to discovering their autistic identity late in life.
If you’ve ever found yourself hiding in the bathroom, crying in a closet, or lying in bed completely debilitated, you know exactly what I mean.
It brings together my professional credentials with my personal experiences as a late-identified autistic woman. The entirety of the program is customized to your unique story and experiences, but is generally organized across three phases: Discovery, Detox, and Design.
The Discovery Phase teaches you a framework for understanding what it means to live in an autistic female body and allows both of us to better understand your unique experiences.
The Detox Phase is where you’ll remove practices, products, and patterns that are burning you out.
The Design Phase empowers you to replace them with what your autistic identity actually needs to thrive.
We’ll move in and out of these phases as needed throughout the program.
This program is not diagnosis or treatment. This is partly because the format is not therapy; it’s coaching. But I’ve also designed this program intentionally as a coaching program because I don't believe autism is a disorder; it’s an identity.
It's my professional and personal opinion that the suffering that stems from autism is a byproduct of living out of alignment with what our neurotype can tolerate:
genetically modified foods
plastics in our water
skin products with endocrine disruptors
relational roles and rules not built for an autistic brain
too much switching between tasks fatigues our executive functioning
fabrics and fashion that irritate and overwhelm
too much sensory and social input
navigating subtext in communication with neurotypical folks
Beneath those problems is a brain designed to thrive.
If you're looking for an official diagnosis or clinical treatment for autism specifically, please reach out to a professional who specializes in that.
Is this program for you?
This program is built for women assigned female at birth, over the age of 35, who discovered their autistic identity later in life and are now living with the physical, mental, and relational burnout that comes from decades of not knowing.
If that's you, you probably recognize some of this:
You notice your ability to keep yourself healthy and happy declined after you turned 35
You constantly feel fatigued no matter how much you rest.
You’re struggling with a physical health issue doctors can’t explain.
Relationships feel draining, even with people you love and enjoy.
You’re frustrated because you want to live life more fully, but you don’t have the capacity for it.
You’re confused about why life is so much harder for you.
You’re learning about perimenopause, but feel like you’re struggling more than the average woman at your age.
You have beautiful dreams for your life but don’t have the stamina to fulfill them.
You’re overwhelmed and understand that life as it is isn’t sustainable, but you have no idea how to fix it.
You don't need a formal autism diagnosis to work with me.
Some of the women I work with have a diagnosis, but many have self-identified through their own research and recognition. That's enough of a starting point for this work. If you’re unsure if your sensitivities qualify as autistic, let’s chat during the free discovery call and go from there.
This program also holds space for how being autistic intersects with your other identities:
Race, gender expression, physical ability, religion, and other parts of your identity all shape how autism shows up in your life.
They also shape how much support or resistance you've encountered along the way, since the world doesn't respond to every autistic woman the same way.
We'll work with your full story, and let it lead us to where you need to go.
A few things this program is NOT:
Diagnosis or treatment. Although the work is grounded in over a decade of clinical training in stress and trauma in combination with an autistic identity, I do not provide traditional diagnosis and treatment anymore. This is a coaching program; not therapy.
Trauma therapy. During this program, we will absolutely look at past experiences, including the traumatic ones, through the lens of your autistic identity. However, we will not be treating trauma symptoms or working with a PTSD diagnosis.
Skills training or crisis intervention. This program isn't a place to work through acute meltdowns or build day-to-day coping skills for them. That kind of support matters, and if it's what you need most right now, I'd encourage you to find a practitioner who specializes specifically in that. What I offer is different: a way to understand yourself deeply enough that you can build a life your autistic system can actually sustain.
One of the most challenging parts for my own autistic journey was recognizing that I was the only one who could improve it.
My therapists didn’t recognize it. My doctors didn’t honor it. And my family and friends could only provide so much support.
Many of the relational, familial, cultural, structural, and financial systems we use everyday aren’t built for women, and they’re definitely not built for autistic women.
Unless you become an active participant in your autistic identity, those systems will continue to burn you out.
Quite frankly, you deserve better.
Every day you spend living out of alignment with your autistic neurotype is another day of the same exhaustion, the same strained relationships, the same dreams staying out of reach. And as your body continues to experience the hormonal and neurological changes that come with age, it’s only going to get worse.
I’ve seen it happen in my own life and others, and I don’t want that to happen to you.
Preventing this is exactly what this program is for.
Why Now?
The women who come to me have usually been carrying autistic burnout for a long time. Left unaddressed, that usually shows up as:
Constant exhaustion that doesn't respond to rest
Health issues that are hard for doctors to explain
Relationships that erode because you don't have the capacity to show up the way you want to
Years spent putting your own dreams on hold because you don’t have the energy for them
You may have found this page after years of managing a body and a life that doctors couldn't fully explain. Or maybe you discovered your autism recently and are already exhausted trying to figure out what to do with it on your own.
Here's what I want you to know: none of that gets easier on its own.
Your nervous system that’s been operating in overdrive can’t reset without you actively working with it
Your relationships built around masking won’t improve without you stepping into your autistic authenticity
Your routines will continue to drain you until you do something different
Your Transformation
DISCOVERY
The Discovery Phase centers around conversations to help us get to know one another. You’ll share your experiences, history, and what you’re struggling with. Along the way, I’ll help you frame your experiences through the lens of an autistic identity. Clients often have many ah-ha moments that are profound and productive.
Some examples of topics we’ll discuss:
The role of autism-related adrenal fatigue in perimenopause
How too much or unexpected switching between tasks disrupts your nervous system
Why neurotypical people and partners get confused by how we communicate (and why we’re confused by them)
The connective tissue issues that come with autism and how it affects absolutely every part of our lives
The ingredients in your skin care and personal products causing all kinds of problems
Foods that interfere with autistic functioning
Somewhere in the Discovery Phase, there's also often a period of grief. Understanding your autistic identity clearly for the first time means understanding what it cost you not to know it sooner.
The relationships you stayed in longer than you should have
The years spent forcing yourself to become someone you could never be
The version of your life you might have built if you’d known your autistic identity early on
This grief can be challenging, but in the end, it ultimately brings immense relief. The space it creates allows us to move forward on a stronger foundation.
DETOX
Once you understand your autistic identity more clearly, it becomes easier to see the parts of your life that are draining you. The Detox Phase is where we start identifying and removing what's burning you out, one piece at a time.
One of the tendencies of an autistic brain is to be all-in or all-out, neither of which is productive. So we’ll be sure to move through this phase in a way that feels manageable, sustainable, and realistic in the long-run.
Together we'll look at things like:
Foods, products, and environments that overload a nervous system already working overtime: like processed foods, endocrine-disrupting skincare, or spaces with too much noise and light.
Relationships and obligations that ask more of you than they give back, even the ones you love. This tends to focus on changing the parameters of your relationships; it doesn’t always mean cutting people out.
Roles and routines you've been performing because they were expected of you, not because they actually fit who you are.
Beliefs about yourself that you built to explain why things felt so hard, before you had this framework to explain it differently.
Removing these things can feel disorienting at first, especially the ones that have been part of your life for a long time. Still, this phase is the point where you can start to feel lighter, even before anything new has been added back in.
DESIGN
With your autistic load lightened, the Design Phase is where you build a life that honors your autism. Together we shape a life that's actually built around your neurotype.
You develop:
A working understanding of your own system, so that when something in your life starts to overwhelm you, you know why, and you know what to do about it instead of just white-knuckling through.
The ability to honor your sensitivities without treating them as a flaw you're managing around. What used to feel like a liability starts to feel like information.
The ability to advocate for yourself in relational and care systems and have conversations that honor your autistic identity with your partners and providers.
A day-to-day routine shaped around what you actually need, with fewer things pulling energy you don't have to spare.
A different relationship to your own needs. Instead of needing to justify them, you start to trust them.
This phase is where you learn to live as the person you already are, in a life that was actually built for her.
Here’s what tends to happen throughout this work.
THE PROGRAM
The Autistic Burnout Recovery Program for Women Over 35 is a 1:1 program, delivered weekly over Zoom, with two options depending on how much time you want to devote to your recovery and your primary goal of what you want to get out of it.
Both programs move through the same three phases — Discovery, Detox, and Design, and we'll move in and out of them as your process requires rather than following a fixed sequence. What changes between the two options is the pace and the depth of what we cover.
Sessions are conducted over Zoom and recorded using Fathom, both of which are HIPAA compliant. Every session is recorded, and I encourage you to go back and review your recordings between sessions. A lot of the work of this program happens with awareness and integration after sessions.
I don’t believe in using sales tactics to pressure your system or surprising you with pricing, so I’ve noted the time and financial investments transparently here. If you have questions about payment plans and scheduling our sessions, please book a discovery call and we’ll chat.
The Alchemist Program
6 months of weekly sessions | $16,900
Alchemy is the deep work of transforming, or transmuting, burnout into something beautiful.
This option gives each phase the room it needs to fully unfold, and comes with a 15% discount per session. It's a good fit if you're ready to fully understand your autistic identity and invest the time and energy into creating lasting change.
The result is powerful transformation in multiple areas of your life.
The Advocate Program
3 months of weekly sessions | $9,000
This program starts with clarity about your autistic identity and prioritizes self-advocacy as the goal.
This option is built for women who already have some sense of what's not working in their life and are ready to act on it. We'll move through Discovery, Detox, and Design in a way that prioritizes your needs so you can start advocating for the life you actually need sooner.
The result is a stronger sense of your needs and how to meet them.
A BIRTHDAY OFFER

To mark it, I'm opening four founding spots in this program at 40% off.
The Alchemist Program: $10,140
The Advocate Program: $5,400
This is genuinely how I want to celebrate this birthday: by bringing four women into this work at a price that reflects what this year means to me.
Once these four spots are filled, or once September ends, whichever comes first, this offer will end.
What My Clients Are Saying
“When I starting working with Dr. Atlas, I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and nearing burnout in my practice as a clinical mental health counselor. Working with Dr. Atlas totally shifted my perspective on how to help my clients and myself.
I learned that my role as a counselor wasn’t just about holding space for pain. While that’s important, real progress comes from addressing what’s blocking healing, not just revisiting the hurt. This method gave me the tools to release my own emotional blockages, which not only prevented my burnout, but also allowed me to be a more effective therapist.”
Past Client“For most of my life, I felt unwanted and unimportant. I felt like there was something wrong with me. Understanding myself has improved my mental and physical health immensely. I struggled with depression, anxiety, migraines, and IBS prior to meeting Dr. Atlas. I’ve also been able to understand deep emotional trauma and understand the steps to take to heal. I will forever be grateful for everything I’ve learned and continue to learn because my life has improved beyond measure.”
Past Client“Working with Dr. Atlas has helped me become more centered in every area of my life. Emotionally, it’s brought a deep sense of balance and clarity. I’m finally able to process my feelings without being overwhelmed with them.
Physically, I’ve become more attuned in my body, noticing where I hold tension and I’ve learned how to release it. I feel more grounded and my energy flows so much better now.
What has surprised me the most is the spiritual shift. This work reconnected me with myself in ways I never expected. It’s guided me through identifying and healing emotional wounds I didn’t even know I was carrying: wounds I didn’t realize were still affecting me. Through this process, I’ve discovered so much about myself and learned to release things that were holding me back. This work has opened up a whole new level of self-awareness and healing.”
Past Client“Working with Dr. Atlas really put puzzle pieces of living together for me. The work naturally included SO MANY different fields of study created this big picture of life for me. Every lesson was like a new ‘ah-ha’ or ‘I knew it!’ The work truly highlights Dr. Atlas’ gifts as a coach and intuitive empath as it helped me understand myself on a deep level very quickly. I found the work inspiring and empowering. This work is truly profound and I will continue to learn more and apply the principles throughout my life. So happy I said yes!”
Past ClientFrequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. Many of the women I work with are self-identified rather than formally diagnosed. If you're unsure whether what you're experiencing is autism, that's exactly the kind of thing we can talk through on your discovery call.
-
Yes, both programs can be split into payments. If you’re interested, we can review the options during your discovery call.
-
This is coaching, not treatment. We won't be working from a diagnosis or treating trauma or autism symptoms. What we will do is look closely at your life, including your past, through the lens of your autistic identity, and use that understanding to change how you're living day to day to address burnout.
-
There's no required homework, but the clients who get the most out of this program spend some time between sessions reviewing their recordings and noticing what's coming up for them.
-
There are no refunds after you enroll in the program. However, if something comes up and prevents you from participating, you can pause your program and continue the remaining time up to one year later.
-
No. This is a coaching program, not therapy, so it isn't billed to insurance and doesn't use CPT codes or a clinical diagnosis. If you're looking for services that can be billed to insurance, I'm not the right fit for that.
-
Many clients leave with the tools and self-understanding to keep applying this work on their own and don’t return. However, if you want continued support after the program or want to extend your Advocate Program into the Alchemy Program, we can talk about what that could look like.
-
This program is structured around weekly sessions, and I'm not available for crisis support between them. If you're someone who needs that kind of access to care, please reach out to a credentialed provider who is equipped to provide more in-depth crisis support.
