This Book Is For You If...
You’re on your own healing path and:Â
- You've read many books on wellness and stress, but you’re still feeling stuckÂ
- You find yourself carrying not just your own stress but everyone else's too
- You want a step-by-step method you can use in right now, with no research background required
- You're highly sensitive, empathic, or neurodivergent and seeking a system that was designed specifically for you
You’re a practitioner (therapist, coach,  educator, or holistic provider) and:
- You want a research-grounded framework that’s easily implemented aside your existing work
- You’re feeling burnt out, or at least on the brink, and you need to understand how to separate from your clients’ “stuff"
- You want a structured method easily understood by your clients that they’ll be able to implement right away
Why this Book is Different
Most people who find this work are already well-versed in wellness. They've tried therapy, meditation, supplements, boundary setting, and every corner of self-care. And they still feel stuck.
That's because self-care and self-regulation are not the same thing.
Self-care is a maintenance practice. It centers routine, rest, and well-being. It's essential, but it doesn't necessarily address stress, trauma, or burnout.
Self-regulation is a management practice. It’s the active practice of keeping your body-mind-relationship system in balance as stress puts pressure on it every single day. It recognizes the impact of stress and gives you tools to complete the stress response cycle, so unresolved stress doesn't accumulate into something worse.
Most wellness resources are built around self-care. Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 1 is built around self-regulation.Â
It's the product of original research and 15+ years of direct clinical work with trauma survivors, and of a personal search that began long before that. It doesn't borrow from existing models. It builds an entirely new model from the ground up, rooted in research and translated into steps anyone can immediately follow without doing the research themselves.
This book doesn’t just give you information; it provides transformation.
The book’s author, Ashley Anne, PhD, LPC, is a licensed trauma therapist, and before founding the Institute, spent most of her career as a university professor, administrator, and clinical supervisor specializing in trauma and burnout prevention frameworks.
Her credentials include:
- Bachelor of Arts in Communication
- Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology
- Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education
- Two-Year Fellowship in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Doctoral research in assessment tools for dysregulation
- Certifications in yoga, Reiki, and neurofeedback
- Roles as a curriculum developer, clinical administrator, and university educator specializing in trauma, practitioner skill and curriculum development, and innovations in online education
She built the Gravity Point® Paradigm because nothing she encountered in her training or practice gave her clients — or herself — a method that was both research-grounded and easy to implement in everyday life. And it wasn’t because she wasn’t looking.
After a lifetime of struggling with her own stress and health, she entered the field of trauma therapy hoping that the answers she hadn't been able to find as a patient might be accessible to her as a clinician. In some ways they were, but the deeper she went into the work, the clearer it became that the existing tools, however valuable, weren’t straightforward enough to be practiced every day.Â
There was no single, systematized framework that could reliably take someone from a triggering situation all the way through to resolution every single time. And she really needed one.
As someone who had spent a lifetime absorbing the stress of the people and environments around her, the weight of holding space for trauma survivors all day compounded her dysregulation that was already there, and the existing tools weren't built to address stress picked up from someone else.
Being a helper just made her sicker, but having invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in education, leaving the field wasn't a realistic option. So she turned her training as a researcher toward the problem itself.
She built what didn't exist: a unified, step-by-step system for resolving stress and trauma that was rigorous enough to satisfy a doctoral researcher, practical enough for burnt-out practitioners to use themselves, and simple enough to hand to a client on their very first visit.
That system is the Gravity Point® Paradigm. And this book is where it begins.Â
The Gravity Point® Anthology
Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 1 is where the book series starts, but it's only the beginning.
The Gravity Point® Paradigm is a complete system, and each volume of the Anthology reveals another layer of it, building on the last until you have the full picture: a comprehensive, research-rooted framework for understanding, mapping, and resolving stress and trauma at every level of human experience.
Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 1 (available now) This first book is the foundation: the practice around which the entire Gravity Point® Paradigm orbits. You’ll learn the Gravity Point® Model of Stress, a new framework for understanding your 20 distinct stress responses, and the Gravity Point® Method for Stress Resolution, a step-by-step process you can use to resolve stress and heal trauma in any triggering situation.
Begin with the First Book
Additional books in the series will be published in the coming years. Each is practical like the first book, but they also contain more connections to specific bodies of research so you can see how the Gravity Point® Paradigm was built.
Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 2 reveals an assessment for dysregulation. Drawing from interpersonal neurobiology, affective systems research, polyvagal theory, and psychological defenses, this volume introduces the Gravity Point® Matrix, a tool for identifying exactly which of your 20 stress responses are balanced, overactive, or underactive in any given situation. You'll move from resolving stress generally to understanding your system with enough specificity to customize the practice you use to regulate stress and resolve trauma without having to guess what your system needs.
Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 3 gives you more tools to regulate your body-mind-relationship system. Rooted in 5,000 years of yogic wisdom and the chakra system, this volume connects each gravity point to its corresponding energy center and reveals targeted regulating practices for body, mind, relationships, and beyond. Using the stress patterns you identified in Volume 2, you'll be able to match situation-specific gravity point patterns to specific regulating practices, customizing your healing practices to your exact needs.Â
Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 4 details principles in the evolving field of quantum health. Utilizing frameworks from quantum mechanics and physics, this volume reveals how reality is actually constructed, from the quantum field through subatomic particles, atoms, and molecules, and how each gravity point participates in that creative process. You'll learn a method for consciously harnessing the laws of quantum mechanics, so that every time you resolve your past trauma, you’re consciously building something better in the present utilizing your inner GPS.Â
Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 5 draws from foundational metaphysical frameworks, to reveal a comprehensive picture of the physical, mental, and relational patterns that emerge when each gravity point is balanced, overactive, or underactive. Here you’ll gain access to a reference guide that connects your problems to specific stress patterns and the stress-resolution practices to resolve them. If you enjoy Louise Hay’s models for understanding the metaphysical underpinnings of human problems, you’ll love this volume too.
Gravity Point® Anthology Volume 6 brings together the complete Gravity Point® Paradigm and reveals powerful shifts in how it helps us understand and address human problems. With all four Research Roots explored and all four pillars of the paradigm in hand, this volume steps back to show what becomes possible when the full system is applied, not just individually, but collectively.Â
For example, you'll learn how the Gravity Point® Paradigm can coordinate care across wellness modalities, finally giving holistic practitioners utilizing different approaches (e.g., yoga therapy, energy work, acupuncture, massage, wellness coaching) a shared language and framework that bridges disciplines that have historically operated in isolation.
You'll encounter a new proposal for how we might understand and intervene in the full spectrum of human problems — spiritual, physical, mental, relational, and even financial — not through the lens of pathology, but through the lens of prevention.
You’ll also discover how the Gravity Point® Paradigm can optimize the role of AI in our happiness and health, making it easier for everyone to bring themselves into balance.
Volume 6 includes the vision the entire Anthology has been building toward: a world in which we’re all better equipped to resolve dysregulation before it becomes disease, disorder, and discord, where practitioners across every modality are equipped to support them in doing it, and the human race is more in touch with our interdimensional nature as a superorganism.
